I’ll try to keep this vague enough so that if you haven’t seen the flick and intend to nothing gets spoiled.

Several months ago a pic from the latest Indiana Jones flick got leaked, leading to a lot of speculation of whether the subject of that pic was going to be simply a background Easter Egg or a focal point. Most folks, including myself, thought it had to be an Easter Egg. No way would the plot really involve what was depicted.
